While there are products available to the general public that allow people to treat themselves to laser hair removal, none of them are FDA approved for laser facial hair removal at home. They are intended to be used for areas of the body below the neck and not on the face. Safe use of take home laser hair removal systems means following manufacturer instructions and using common sense. Take home laser devices have really opened up the benefits of using a laser to many people who either did not have the time to schedule a visit to the clinic.
FDA Approved Home Laser Hair Removal
The first step to using take home laser devices is buying an FDA approved product. This means that the product you are about to use has been testing thoroughly for consumer safety which greatly reduces the risk of any complications or undesired side effects. This does not mean there are no risks involved since we cannot eliminate all risk in anything, but managing risks is all we can do in any aspect of our lives.
Following Instructions
Most products come with built in safety features such as indicator lights that notify the user when it is time to move to a new area or skin tone detectors to prevent burning people who should not be using laser treatment in the first place. Follow manufacturer guidelines as a minimum and err on the conservative side when using any laser system.
The instructions will include reminding patients that dark skin tones are not ideal for laser hair removal since the whole method relies on the properties of light being attracted by darker pigments. Light skinned people with dark hair are the ideal. Anyone with tanned, to brown, to dark skin should avoid laser treatment.
Using Common Sense
Following manufacturer guidelines and buying FDA approved products really are common sense. But don’t stop there, if, at any moment during use, there is growing pain or discomfort it would be wise to discontinue use and seek the help of a medical professional if it is anything serious. Also, in the rare even that burns or blisters do appear it is a good idea to seek medical advice immediately to avoid permanent scars.
Laser Facial Hair Removal at Home
There are no products that have been considered safe for use on the face so don’t try it. Facial hair is harder to removal with laser treatment because it tends to be thinner and lighter than other body hair. Also, the extra sensitivity of the skin in the facial area, as well as other parts of the body, makes it easily irritable which is why laser hair removal of such areas should only be done by professionals.

In the past I used waxing to get rid of my excess hair but it was so uncomfortable that I wanted to give it up. I gave waxing a try and it worked so-so but was kind of inconveinant. So I tried tria and was suprisingly satisfied. I actually used the no no and was extremely satisfied with the final outcome. It provided me permanent hair removal at an unbelievable fee. I highly recommend it to anyone in place of shaving.

When I was young I used sugaring to remove my unsightly hair but it was so painful that I needed to find something else. I gave electrolysis a try and it worked somewhat but was very inconveinant. So I tried shaving and was suprisingly satisfied. I actually used the tria and was completely pleased with the outcome. It offered me fast hair removal at an great cost. I definitly recommend it to someone before sugaring.
